Had a driving lesson today. It’s kinda dumb, I know how to drive, yet I have to pay $400 for classes just to get my license.
Anyway, the lady was cool.. She was really old and sweet and talked about hiking and paragliding and her dogs.
Now I’m eating leftover Thai food and doing calc homework. Heading to Mt. Helix in a bit to run stairs.. I want to start getting more power in my legs for climbing, as well as increase my cardio, since I’ll start training for routes ad endurance pretty soon.
I guess there’s also a small bit of bouldering on helix, so we’ll see how that goes..
It’s a lovely day.. Stop reading my blog and get outside and do something (:
Since I started climbing, my passion for it has grown every day. Before it, I was lost, bored and unsure of my place. Instantly, I found comfort in the sport.. I love the simplicity of it, the movements, the challenge it presents, the bliss experienced once it’s been overcame.
I found comfort in raw fingertips, searing muscles, good people, and the simple joy one can only experience from a rock, a crash pad, and big skies.
I hope this lasts forever.
Today was cool.. I climbed a lot, worked some new problems and learned my friends training regimen.. Jumping on the campus board with both hands hurts…
Good night.
I want to open a climbing gym called Get High
And what if I built it in a sky scraper so people could multi-pitch!
